Program: ISAD-OPENED Workshop

Dear Colleague,

On the occasion of the 16th Georg RAJKA – ISAD meeting in Beijing, we are organizing a PaCeCAD Workshop entitled Digital Tools and Integrative Medicine in Atopic Dermatitis: Navigating Trust and Decision-Making.

This workshop will bring together clinicians, researchers, and patient representatives to explore two major evolutions in atopic dermatitis care:

  1. The integration of Traditional Chinese Medicine within mainstream dermatological practice
  2. The expanding role of digital tools in clinical management

Through keynote lectures and interactive roundtables, we aim to establish a shared scientific framework while openly addressing therapeutic, cultural, and ethical tensions that arise in daily practice.

Our objective is not only to stimulate high-level discussion but also to co-develop clear, consensus-based principles that can guide clinical decision-making and international collaboration. The workshop will contribute to a meeting report intended for submission to JEADV_CP and will serve as the foundation for a structured, multi-year action plan developed with participating stakeholders.

Your recognized expertise and experience in this field would bring essential depth and perspective to these discussions. We believe that your contribution would meaningfully enrich the dialogue and help ensure that the conclusions we reach are both scientifically rigorous and clinically relevant. I sincerely hope that you will join us in this collective effort. Together, we have the opportunity not only to clarify key principles but also to lay the groundwork for sustained international collaboration that benefits both patients and professionals.

Sincerely,

Prof. Jean-François STALDER
Chair
