13th Georg Rajka Symposium to focus on “Solidarity in Atopic Dermatitis”

Gdańsk, Poland – The International Society of Atopic Dermatitis (ISAD) is delighted to announce that the 13th Georg Rajka Symposium will take place in Gdańsk, Poland on August 31, 2023. The symposium will be held under the motto “Solidarity in Atopic Dermatitis”.

Atopic Dermatitis (AD) is a chronic and highly prevalent disease affecting millions of people worldwide. The symposium is an opportunity for healthcare providers, physicians, researchers, and associations to come together in a friendly, creative, interdisciplinary, and international atmosphere. The event aims to facilitate the exchange of scientific and real-life experiences, address controversies, and access the newest knowledge in round table format or open communications sessions with top-class speakers.

“Following the lessons of the Covid period, the ISAD has decided to hold annual symposia enhanced with hybrid sessions. Combining the traditional spirit of RAJKA symposia with digital technology and a pinch of local flavor, our annual symposium gathers more and more people dedicated to Atopic Dermatitis,” said Prof. Magdalena TRZECIAK, the symposium chair.

Inspired by the history of Gdańsk, known as “the city of freedom and solidarity,” the symposium’s program will use multispecialty approaches, shared initiatives, and international cooperation. There will be a special emphasis on ways to alleviate the symptoms and burden of Atopic Dermatitis, remove gaps, and fight the challenges of the disease. The symposium will also discuss therapeutic breakthroughs in AD, as well as recent innovations.

The symposium will be an excellent opportunity to connect with outstanding experts in Atopic Dermatitis, start and foster high-level scientific collaboration, and translate rapid therapy updates into everyday practice. The event will take place at the Radisson Hotel & Suites in Gdańsk.
