Asia Pacific Academy of Pediatric Allergy, Respirology & Immunology

The recent APAPARI (Asia Pacific Allergy Academy of Pediatric Allergology) annual congress was held in Shenzhen, China. The ISAD sent a delegation to meet the pediatric colleagues of this region who are caring for a sizable part of the patients worldwide.
The meeting was focused on prevention, access to care and drugs in Asia versus the rest of the world, immunodeficiencies associated with AD features, and field research in underprivileged regions of the world, especially Africa. The session was co-chaired by Lin Ma (Beijing, China) and David Luk (Hong-Kong, Shenzhen neighbour city).
Speakers were Kangmo Ahn (Seoul, Korea), Alain Taïeb (Bordeaux, France), Andreas Wollenberg (Augsburg, Germany), and Peter Schmid-Grendelmeier (Zurich, Switzerland). Prof Lin Ma will organize the 2026 Rajka Symposium in Beijing, and the preparation of the meeting has already started.
