Step-by-Step: From the Subway Platform to the Hotel Lobby
Because Guomao is a major hub located within a massive business complex, the underground corridors can feel vast. Follow these steps to reach the lobby quickly:
- Follow the Signs in the Metro Station:
As you step off the train, look up at the overhead signs. Follow the arrows pointing toward Exit A and the China World Mall (国贸商城) or China World Hotel (中国大饭店). - Pass Through the Turnstiles:
Scan your Alipay Transit QR code to exit the subway gates. - Enter the Underground Complex:
Exit A connects directly to the lower level of the China World Mall. You will see clear, dual-language (English and Chinese) directional signs for the China World Hotel posted throughout the corridors. - Take the Escalator Up:
Follow the hotel signs through the indoor concourse. You will easily find an escalator or elevator bank dedicated to the hotel. Take it up to the 1st Floor (Ground Level). - Welcome to the Lobby:
You will emerge right into the main lobby of the China World Hotel, just steps away from the Grand Ballroom, conference registration desks, and meeting rooms.

Guomao is one of Beijing’s busiest interchange stations. If your route requires you to transfer between Line 1 and Line 10 inside Guomao station, please note that the underground transfer corridor is quite long and takes about 5 to 8 minutes to walk. Give yourself an extra 10 minutes of travel time if you are taking a route that requires this switch!
